Tender offers are invited for supply and delivery of food commodities and toiletry to Gakgatla destitute persons, orphans, community home based care patients, needy students, children in need of care, emergency situations, beneficiaries on special diet and those who are registered and awaiting to be enrolled on coupon system in Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District: Social and Community Development.
Qualifying criteria:
The tender is open to Botswana locally registered companies operating within Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District and licensed under the following line of trades: General Dealer, Fresh Produce and any other relevant trade licenses.
Document Price:
A non-refundable fee of P500.00 is required prior to collection of the Tender Documents. Payments shall be made at Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council, Revenue office situated at RAC along Gabane Road effective 10 April 2012 between 07:30 and 12:45 and form 13:45 to 15:30 during working days.

The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council, Social and Community Development Office, Nkoyaphiri Industrial Site along Gabane Road on presentation of a receipt of payment. Documents may be collected during working hours between 07:30 and 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 from 10 April 2012. Queries and clarifications relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed in writing to: The Principal Social Welfare Officer II, Private Bag 006, Mogoditshane, Telephone No. +267 3105615, Fax No. +267 3105617/3105617 two (2) weeks before the tender closing date and time.
Place of submission:
Tenders should be submitted in four (4) sets; one (1) marked "Original" and three (3) marked "Copies" in a plain envelope securely sealed and clearly marked: "Tender No. KDC/TR/S&CD-MOG/002/2012 - Supply and Delivery of Food Commodities and Toiletry to Gakgatla Destitute Persons, Orphans, Community Home Based Care Patients, Needy Students, Children in Need of Care, Emergency Cases, Beneficiaries on Special Diet as Well as Those Who are Registered and Awaiting to be Enrolled on Coupon System in Mogoditshane/ Thamaga Sub-District Council" and delivered to: LAPAD Secretary's office at Environmental Health offices not later than 09:00 on 8 May 2012. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 on 8 May 2012 and the opening will be done at 10:00 the same day in the presence of interested bidders in the Conference Room situated at RAC offices at Nkoyaphiri Industrial Site along Gabane Road. Late, faxed, emailed or telephonic tender offers will not be accepted.
Additional information:
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any other tender offer or bear any expenses in the preparation thereof.
