The company is currently looking forward to employ suitably qualified candidates for the following position:
Locum Medical Officer (10 Months fixed term contract)
Reporting to the manager health services, the successful incumbent will be required to provide overall healthcare fore BCL employees and their dependents. He/she will be expected to also carry out administrative and other duties as assigned. The duties will include but limited to:
• medical treatment and care
• supervision of junior staff
• advising and liaising with other departments on healthcare matters
• promotion of employee wellness
• providing occupational health services
• surgical procedures
Job requirements
• bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery
• registration with Botswana health professions councils
• 5 years post qualification experience
• Kitso training experience in HIV/AIDS management
• ACLS, PALS and ATLS or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Experience in both mineral processing for concentrator support and smelter would be an added advantage
