The company is currently looking forward to employ suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
Family Nurse Practitioner
Reporting to the matron, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
• Consulting and prescribing treatment to patients in the out patient department
• Referral of ill patients requiring medical officer intervention
• Providing guidance and training to nursing staff
• Providing other nursing duties as delegated from time to time
• Providing reports as required by management
• Supervision of junior staff in the outpatient department
• Performing HIV/AIDS counseling as required
Job requirements
• Diploma in general nursing plus post diploma in family nurse practice
• 3 years post qualifications experience in family nurse practice
• Valid registration with Botswana Nursing council
• Competence in basic life support and / or exposure to occupational health will be an added advantage
• Kitso training with update on current guidelines is a requirement
