Our client in the retail industry is looking to fill the following positions:
Supermarket Bakery Manager
We are looking for a dedicated and self motivated Bakery Manager. The suitable candidate will be responsible fro the overall success of their in store bakery Department.
Job responsibilities:
• Supervising/managing/overseeing the in store Bakery
• Production of high quality products
• Utilize a hands on approach to training and developing Bakery staff
• Teach employees the importance of consistency in preparation and presentation
• Ensure that level of quality, adherence to recipes and product display and price ticketing is adhered to consistently.
• Able to calculate product cost and selling prices
• stocktaking and gross profit calculations
• Hygiene standards and consistently achieving targets as per the hygiene audit check list
• Management and scheduling of staff
Qualifications and experience:
• A minimum of 5 years experience, with 3 ears at supervisory level
• Must have supermarket experience
• Excellent customer relations and selling skills
• Thorough knowledge of Bakery techniques
