Botswana Railways invites reputable companies to tender for the Supply and Delivery for Container Reach Stacker as detailed in the Invitation to Tender.
Botswana Railways invites reputable companies registered with PPADB Code 208 Transport Equipment and Accessories Sub-code 03 Earth Moving Equipment to tender. Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana shall in order to be considered for the award of the contract, be appropriately registered and in possession of requisite documentation according to the laws of Botswana.
A non-refundable fee of BWP 1000.00 (One Thousand Pula only inclusive VAT) in cash or bank guaranteed cheque made to Botswana Railways.
Tender documents can be collected from Procurement Section Room 110, Botswana Railways Headquarters, at Mahalapye from Monday to Friday between 07:30 to 16:30 upon payment. Tenders are to be submitted in plain sealed envelopes and addressed to; The Secretary, Botswana Railways Tender Committee, Private Bag 0052, Mahalapye, or hand delivered and be deposited in a Tender Box at Botswana Railways Headquarters, Mahalapye Botswana, Ground Floor. The tenders are to be submitted in four (4) copies, one (1) marked 'Original' and three (3) marked "Copy". The Tender number and description should be clearly endorsed on plain sealed envelopes. This is a two envelope system where bidders are required to submit the Technical and financial proposals in Two separate envelopes. Only the technical proposal will be opened at the tender opening. The tender validity period is 120 days from the closing date of the tender. The closing date for receipt of tender submissions shall be on Friday 6th September 2013 at 12:00. Tenders will be opened in the presence of bidders wishing to attend. Late tender submissions will not be accepted. Telegraphic, telex, telephone, email tenders will not be considered/accepted
Botswana Railways is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer. The tenderer shall bear the costs for the preparation of the tender document.
