Tender offers are invited for the Supply and Delivery of Domestic Supplies to Divisional Command South (Prisons)
This tender offer is reserved for local bidders, that is, it is an Open Bidding Tender. Only those tenderers who are appropriately licensed to trade, manufacture and/or supply the items and in are possession of a requisite documentation to import, manufacture and/or sell such items according to the laws of Botswana may tender. Bidders are requested to submit proof of PPADB registration (certified true copy by PPADB) in the relevant Code: 211 - General Supplies, Sub-Code: 01 - Cleaning Materials, 06 - Plastic Products and 11 - Toiletries. All bidders are required to complete the Form of Declaration by Directors and Shareholders and submit copies of Registrar of Companies Form 2 or other registration documents listing the Directors and current Shareholders of the Company as per Paragraph No. 4 of the form. Companies that submit multiple bids will be disqualified. The Directive on Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) will be applied to this Tender. For companies to benefit from this Directive, they should submit certified copies of their EDD registration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry as proof that they are local suppliers, producers or manufacturers.
A non-refundable fee of P250.00 in cash payable in favour of the Government of Botswana is required on collection of the Tender Documents.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Divisional Command South, Private Bag X09, Gaborone at Village Prison Complex next to Central Prison. Documents may be collected during working hours on weekdays from 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 with effect from 22 July 2013. Names and addresses of bidders must be reflected on the envelope. A total of (8) bounded copies, one (1) original marked "Original" plus seven (7) copies must be hand delivered in sealed envelopes marked: "Tender No. DATC/DJS/DCS/01/2013-2014 - Supply and Delivery of Domestic Suppliers and they must be handed at the District Commissioners office, Boardroom, Plot No. 1470, Moselebe Road, opposite Jacks Gym. The closing date and time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on 28 August 2013. Late tender offers will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof
