Tender offers are invited for the Provision of Supply and Delivery of Furniture for Bobirwa Sub-District Council from the time of contract signing to 31 March 2014.
The tender is open to all businesses domiciled in Botswana with valid Trading License for supplying school and office furniture. Bidders shall, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be appropriately licensed to trade in furniture.
A non-refundable tender fee of P150.00 must be paid to Treasury Department. Revenue Office No. A01, Wing A, Ground Floor, Rural Administration Centre made out in favour of the Bobirwa Sub-District Council prior to collecting the Tender Documents. The receipt will be required during collection of the document.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Education Office, Bobirwa Sub-District Council, Office No. B046, Wing B, 1st Floor, Rural Administration Centre. Documents may be collected during working hours between 07:30 and 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 on weekdays with effect from 8 April to 8 May 2013. One (1) original marked "Original" and three (3) copies marked "'Copies" (enclosed in one sealed envelope) of the Tender Documents are to be addressed to: The Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Bobirwa Sub-District Council, Private Bag 0013, Bobonong. Tender Documents are to be hand-delivered to Office No. A07, Wing A, Ground Floor, Rural Administration Centre, not later than 09:00 on 8 May 2013 marked: "Tender No. BSDC/ED/05/2013-2014 - A Supplies Contract for the Supply and Delivery of School and Office Furniture for Bobirwa Sub-District Council". The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 on 8 May 2013. The time for tender opening is immediately after the closing of tender. Late tender offers will not be accepted. Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile or post-mailed tender offers will not be considered.
The Local Authorities Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2008 Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in this Tender Document. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Bobirwa Sub-District Council is pot bound to accept the lowest tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
