Tender offers are invited by Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council for Collection, Transportation and Disposal of Refuse from Registered Residential, Institutional and Public Places in Mmopane, Mmopane Block 1, Thamaga, Metsimotlhabe, Ledumadumane, Mogoditshane - Central, Mmankgodi and Kumakwane villages and also doing litter picking at Mmopane, Gabane, Ledumadumane and Mogoditshane Central areas from the date of award up to 31 March 2014.
Tender offers are invited by Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council from 100% citizen owned small scale registered companies residing in Mmopane, Mmopane Block 1, Thamaga, Metsimotlhabe, Ledumadumane, Mogoditshane - Central, Mmankgodi and Kumakwane. Companies should be licensed with the Department of Waste Management and Pollution Control for Waste Carrier License. Preference will be given to destitute persons and out of school youth residing in those villages.
A non-refundable fee of P150.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Pula) payable in cash at the Council Revenue Office situated at the Council premises (RAC), Nkoyaphiri during working hours from 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 15:30.
Documents can be collected at the Environmental Health Office, Office No. 1, Sanitation Depot, Nkoyaphiri along Gaborone - Gabane Road, Mogoditshane during working hours after 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 on weekdays (Monday to Friday) with effect from 15 March 2013 upon payment. Queries or clarifications relating to the tender may be addressed to: Principal Environmental Health Officer No. 1, Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council, Private Bag 006, Mogoditshane, Telephone No. +267 3910383, Fax No. 3105617 within two (2) weeks before closing date and time.
A compulsory pre-tender meeting with the representative of the Procuring Department shall take place at Council premises, Nkoyaphiri (RAC Conference Room) on 27 March 2013 starting at 09:00.
One (1) original marked "Original" and three (3) copies marked "Copy" of the Tender Document should be submitted in a sealed plain envelope clearly marked: “Tender No. KDC/TR/ENV/MOG/004/2013 – A Tender for the Contract for Small Scale Community Based Refuse Collection. Transportation and Disposal Services in Mmopane, Mmopane Block 1, Thamaga, Metsimotlhabe, Mmankgodi, Kumakwane, Ledumadumane and Central Ward (Mogoditshane) and addressed to: The Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Mogoditshane/Thamaga Sub-District Council and shall be delivered to: The LAPAD Secretary's office (located at Mogoditshane RAC) for registration before slotting into a Tender Box situated at the same office. The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 09:00 on 18 April 2013 and shall be opened at 10:00 on the same date at the RAC Council Conference Room in the presence of bidders wishing to attend. Late tenders, telegraphic, taxed or emailed tender offer submissions will not be accepted.
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer. The bidder shall bear all the casts for the preparation of the tender.
