Tender offers are invited for the Supply and Delivery of Jam and Peanut Butter to Serowe Administrative Authority Primary Schools for a period ending 31 March 2014.

Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana shall, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be appropriately licensed to trade, manufacture and/or supply the items and be registered with PPADB, Code: 207, Sub-Code: 01 to supply/sell, import/manufacture and/or sell such items according to the Laws of Botswana. Price margin preference will be applied to bids which qualify under Economic Diversification Drive guidelines.

A non-refundable fee of P150.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Pula) payable at Council Revenue, Office No. A27, Central District Council (Headquarters) made out in favour of the Serowe Administrative Authority prior to collecting the Tender Documents. The receipt will be required during collection of the document.

The physical address for collection Tender Documents is: Education Office No. 22 at Serowe Administrative Authority (within Old Sekgoma Memorial Hospital premises). Documents may be collected during normal working days between 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 with effect from 18 March 2013. Request for clarification(s) should be received not later than 7 days before the tender closing date. Those received after the stipulated date will not be responded to.

Name and full address should be clearly marked at the back of the plain sealed envelope. A one stage one envelope submission method will be followed. All Bidders must be clearly marked: "Bidder number CDC/SAA/EDU/T04/2013 - Supply and Delivery of Food Commodities (Jam and Peanut Butter)" addressed to: The Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Private Bag 0023, Serowe and should reach the LAPAD Secretariat Office No. 27, within Serowe Administrative Authority, old Sekgoma Memorial Hospital premises, not later than 09:00 on 18 April 2013. Tender opening shall commence the same day on 18 April 2013, soon after closure at Lady Khama Centre Old Hall. Bidders wishing to attend to the opening of the Bid may do so at their own expenses. Receipt number for each purchased document shall be recorded in the space provided on the cover page. Bids not so marked will not be opened. One original marked "Original" and 3 copies marked "Copy" of the Tender Documents sealed in one plain envelope clearly marked as stated above. Bidders are advised that telephonic, facsimile and telegraphic or emailed bids will not be accepted. Late bids will not be accepted.

Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Serowe Administrative Authority is not bound to accept the lowest or any Bid offer nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
