Tender offers are invited from manufacturers/producers, traders and suppliers of peanut butter and fruit jam for Supply and Delivery of Peanut Butter and Fruit Jam for Primary Schools in Maun/Ngami Primary Schools
Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana shall, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be appropriately licensed to manufacture or produce and trade and be in possession of requisite documentation to sell peanut butter and fruit jam. Price margin preference will be applied to bids which qualify under Economic Diversification Drive Scheme in accordance with Presidential Directive 11 (a) of 2010.
A non-refundable deposit of P200.00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made in favour of Maun Administrative Authority is required prior to collection of Tender Documents. Payments shall be made at the Accounts Unit. Revenue office at Maun Administrative Authority.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Maun Administrative Authority, Education Department, Office No. 18 on presentation of receipt of payment. Documents may be collected during working hours between 07:30 and 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 on weekdays with effect from 18 March to 17 April 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed in writing to: Ms Getrude Keakopa, Telephone No. +267 6861729, Fax No. +267 6863214, fourteen (14) days before lender closing date.
Tenders should be submitted in five (5) sets; one (1) marked "Original" and four (4) marked "Copies" in a plain envelope securely sealed and addressed to: The Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Maun Administrative Authority, Private Bag 11, Maun, clearly marked "Tender No. NW/MAA/ED/001/2013 - Supply and Delivery of Peanut Butter and Fruit Jam" and hand delivered to: Office No. 017, Rural Administration Centre, Green Block, Ground Floor, not later than 09:00 on 17 April 2013. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 on 17 April 2013 and opening will be immediately thereafter in the presence of interested bidders at Rural Administration Centre (RAC) - Old Chambers. Late, faxed, emailed and telephonic tender offers will not be accepted.
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, North West District Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
