Tender offers are invited for the Provision of Private Security Services for Sowa Town Council.
This tender is reserved for 100% citizen contractors. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered under Botswana Companies Act (Cap. 42:01) and Control of Security Act (Cap. 21:07). Security Companies who pass technical stage will be vetted by the Directorate of Intelligence and Security before they proceed for financial comparison stage. Any security company which is deemed to have violated or breached any condition as stipulated in the Security Act and as seen by DIS will be disqualified.
A non-refundable deposit of P200.00 payable in cash is required on collection of the Tender Documents.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Office of the LAPAD Secretary, Office No. 45, Sowa Town Council Offices. Documents may be collected during working hours from 07:30 to 15:30 on Mondays to Fridays starting from 18 March 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: Mr P. A compulsory site visit with representatives of the Procuring Department will take place at Sowa Town Offices on 2 April 2013 starting at 09:00.
The closing time for receipt offender offers is 10:00 on 19 April 2013 and opening will be done immediately after closing on the same day in the presence of interested bidders in the Sowa Town Council Chamber. Late tender, telegraphic, telex, telephonic, electronic or emailed tenders will not be accepted.

The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Sowa Town Council Adjudication Committee is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
