Brand And Retail Category Manager - Lubricants
Job purpose:
Ensure delivery of the retail lubricant volume & margin, through delivery of the agreed category agenda, and working with retail team to deliver excellent on-site execution.
Qualifications And Experience:
The ideal candidate must the following criteria:
• A degree in sales & marketing
• Minimum of 3 year ‘s experience in category management with an understanding of category management process would be an advantage
• Prior working experience as brand manager/marketing role in an FMCG environment
• Strong background in merchandising, purchasing, financial analysis and stock control
• Previous experience in retail operations is desirable
• Strong project management skills.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Develops country category plan
• Manage relationships with customer, stakeholders and internal resources
• Develop and execute national advertising and promotional activities to effectively communicate the strategic positioning and lifecycle development of products to customers.
• Leads the marketing lifecycle process for designated brand (s)
• Develops and mages the brand platform
• Create and execute the brand strategies and marketing plans for the brands, including managing both the existing product portfolio and new product launches
• Deliver retail lubricants CVP’s and maximize the business
• Working closely with distribution partners and marketing research companies to obtain relevant information, including the development and implantation of brand audit studies and focus groups.
