The national food technology research centre( NFTRC) , a government funded food science and technology research institution based in Kanye, Botswana invites applications from qualified and experienced persons for the positions of:
Vacancy Circular No 6, (DRD 2014) Research Scientist - Nutrition And Dietetics
Applications are invited for the above position within the research and development division.
Main purpose of the job:
To participate in the implementation of research programmes and projects; carry out nutrition and dietetics research and development; conduct nutrition evaluation of food products, materials and product formulations: conduct nutrition surveys: develop new technologies and proposals for nutrition intervention; and provide nutrition and dietetics information, education and counseling.

Requirements:
A master’s degree in nutrition or a closely related discipline is required. In addition, the position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of data processing and statistical skills will be an added advantage. This is a direct entry position and no post masters experience is required.
