Duties
The successful candidates will be expected to
(i) Train and educate undergraduate students, Using and developing new and appropriate teaching methods
(ii) Participate in all academic activities of the department
(iii) Serve on committees within the college and external professional organisations
(iv) Facilitate partnership internally and externally
(v) Initiate, develop and establish research programmes with other staff in the department
(vi) Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the head of department

Lecturer in Microbiology

Minimum requirements
• Master’s degree in biology with PhD in medical immunology as an added advantage
• First degree in biological sciences majoring in biology & chemistry
• Lecturing experience
• Course practical demonstrator experience of at least 5 years
