Terminal Operator (Gaborone Depot based & Francistown Depot based)
Highly organized and skilled at multitasking, you will be required to carry out all activities related to the receipt and handling of petroleum products from various sources into Botswana Oil Limited storage facilities.
Adhering to safety, health, environment and quality standards, you will be responsible for receiving, storing and loading bulk products. This includes assisting with dipping of storage tanks as well as monitoring that meters in the gantry are sealed at all times. You will also ensure customs documents are in order, prior to offloading bridging vehicles.
Highly skilled in depot operations and procedures, you will conduct product testing, truck dipping, wagon/rail tank care gauging as well as stock management.
This role requires you to have a minimum of a junior certificate preferably having completed your secondary education with 2 to 3 years work experience in the oil industry. You should have a good command of written and spoken English and Setswana. You should also be computer literate. Please indicate choice of preferred location for this position.
