Site Coordinators (12) –YA TSILE Project
Overall purpose of the job
The Tebelopele site coordinator job holder will serve as Tebelopele site coordinator. Position also involves site monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable regulations at. The incumbent will be engaged in collecting, updating, reviewing and assessing data for prevention students and will ensure consistent and proper delivery of HIV care. Incumbent will be required to drive to various research sites.
Principal duties
1.Research nursing;screening,identifying,recruiting,examining,enrolling and monitoring patients
2.Site monitoring; conducts a variety of site monitoring activities intended to facilitate and assure that the research complies with the requirements of the regulatory requirements.
3.Screens patients contacts for the purpose of contact tracing; compiles clinical data and enters data in into database; conducts routine interviews as well as basic pre and pos-HIV test counseling and refers to Public health specialist for counseling and testing as interviews as well as basic pre-and post –HIV test counseling and refers to Public Health Specialist for counseling and testing as appropriate ;provides risk reduction education for TB and HIV to participants to decrease infection rate. Ensures clinic nurses collect blood and other infectious clinical specimens from patients according to established procedures to prevent medical transmission of HIV.
Education /qualification
Essential
?A Bachelors degree in public health or degree in any Health related training.
Skills, knowledge and experience
?3 years relevant work experience with progressive responsibility that includes coordinating clinical programs and direct patient care
?Light vehicle driving license –class B.
?Post graduate Diploma in General Management, project management or equivalent.
