Finance Manager (1) –tenable in Gaborone
Overall purpose of the job
The Tebelopele Finance Manager will oversee the implementation of the organization finance management and procurement systems. This individual will be responsible for Financial systems including advisory, implementation risk controls according to audits, accountability of the organizations assets and general day to day running of the department, reporting directly to the Executive Director.

Principal duties
1.Financial policy and strategy management
2.Internal risks controls
3.Overall financial operations
4.Asset management
5.Vendor and contractor management
6.Payroll management
7.Supervision of staff in the finance department.
Education/qualification
Essential
?A Bachelors degree in Accounting Financial Management or related field
?A professional qualification .I.E CIMA or ACCA will be an added advantage
Skills, knowledge and experience
?10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
?Knowledge of pastel accounting and auditing
?Knowledge of softline VIP Payrol System
?Ability to maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit, particularly legislation changes and developments as they affect NGO’S and new auditing techniques and practices
?Knowledge of Audit procedures, including planning ,techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits
?Thorough knowledge of principles, procedures and practices of accounting and financial records and transaction including international Financial reporting standards and generally accepted accounting principles
?Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with other Tebelopele staff and to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and I writing.
?Ability to work unsupervised.
?Grants management experience i.e USG funding mechanism i.e rule & regulations and financial management of USG funds.
