Credit Analyst
We require a Credit Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Senior Investment Officer Fixed Income. This role is to undertake rigorous research and analysis of fixed income investment in Botswana and internationally.
The suitable candidate will have the following attributes.
Qualifications
• A finance, investment or other related degree
• Have passed CFA Level 1 exam or a suitable alternative professional qualification and shown demonstrate commitment to developing investment skills.
Experience and skills
• Past experience working in credit analysis and research capacity
• An excellent knowledge of the Botswana and international capital markets and fixed income markets
• Highly analytical and ability to process information
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written communication
• The personality to work well within a tea environment.
• Understanding the asset management industry and the role of multiple asset classes in investment performance would be advantageous.
