Our client, Botswana Institute for Technology Research and innovation (BITRI) is a newly established technology research institute whose mandate is to undertake research, identify and or develop appropriate technologies in line with national priorities and needs of Botswana. Senior Researcher, ICT
THE JOB
The purpose of the role will be to manage the planning and implementation of ICT Projects, initiative and drive range research in ICT as per the needs of Botswana. You will carry out administrative work to support the programme of research, engage in the dissemination of the research results, as directed by the project leader and to carry out any additional duties as may reasoanably be required within the general scope and level of the post.

The requirements
The role requires a PhD in Electronics systems engineering or related from a recognized institution with 10 years research experience with proven knowledge in ICT. Your experience must include 4 years of programme management exposure.

BITRI offers attractive working conditions and remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience. The above posts are for five years fixed term renewable contracts.
