Resource Centre Coordinator
The job
Reporting to the Director Research and partnerships you will be tasked with coordinating the activities of the resource centre through the provision of comprehensive library and information resource to support the information and knowledge needs of BITRI and its stakeholders. You will be implementing and managing procedures, systems and rules of the centre, analyzing and identifying information needs of users, building and maintaining a dynamic collection of information resource within the centre in accordance with the identified needs of the organization.

The requirements
You will possess a degree in Library and information science from a recognized institution with 5 years practical experience of working in a library or resource centre, preferably for an academic institution or within a research and development environment. A master’s degree and experience as a subject librarian in science and Technology, working in a digital library and ability to develop and articulate a digital vision for the resource centre will be an added advantage.

BITRI offers attractive working conditions and remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience. The above posts are for five years fixed term renewable contracts.
