Technical Manager
Suitable candidates are invited to apply for the following position which exists in our Gaborone Operations:
Technical Manager
Reporting to the Plant Manager
Key performance Areas:
• Provide leadership to employees in area of responsibility
• Ensure that all energy cost are monitored and efficiently managed
• Manage and control the maintenance department
• Ensure that maintenance of plant equipment is listed and managed on the applicable systems
• Work closely with other departments to improve plant OEE’s
• Compile and control the maintenance budget
• Manage/service level agreement with tanker fleet maintenance provider to ensure fleet correctly is maintained
• To assist with breakdowns and fault analysis on plant equipment
Minimum requirements:
• Mechanical/electrical or industrial engineering degree or N6/T4
• At least 10 years post qualification and TBA8 Maintenance experience
• Tetra-pak experience and 5 years experience in FMCG environment
• Experience in PLC,SCADA and PRAGMA
• Good planning and organizing skills is essential
• Experience in NH# refrigeration
• Valid code drivers license
• Must be able to do on job training with UHT Technicians
