Logistics Manager
A plant truck hire company requires the services of a logistics manager to be based in Gaborone.
Requirements: applicants must possess a diploma in logistics or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in plant hire, maintenance of Fleet and overall logistics management.
Responsibilities: management of the logistics company includes;
- Managing plant hire relating to dispatching routing and tracking of trucks
- Ensure all paperwork for the trucks necessary for trips in place
- Monitor and maintain the fleet including fuel usage, breakdowns and general upkeep of all trucks
- Identify and establishing new business and driving the sales and marketing of fleet.
- Customer relationship management
- Producing reports on performance of the department
Key skills- strong organizational skills, communication skills, analytical skills, team working skills, sales and commercial awareness.
