Sefalana Holding Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of:
Group IT Systems Risk Manger
Reporting to the Sefalana Group’s Audit and Risk committee, the position is tenable in Gaborone. The candidate will be serving all companies within the group and it requires travelling within Botswana
Qualifications:
- Qualifications in computer science from an accredited institution
- Professional certifications in Linux and Server Operating Systems will be an added advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Oficina DMS, Ms Exchange, Windows Server OS, Mail Daemon, Arch enterprise, ACCPAC ERP, VIP, Linux and QuickTrav
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years business analysis or systems engineering experience in a complex and heterogeneous IT environment using a formal methodology;
- At least 4 hands on years experience in a field of an engineering environment
- Exposure in a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration and teamwork; proficiency in data mining and backup solutions over LANS and WANS
- Good understanding of project management and be able to formulate ICT policies and procedures for enterprises organizations
- Expert experience in Ms Office suite packages and provision of end user support
- Excellent knowledge of IT Governance and IT risk management principles
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure aqnd application technologies in retail environments
- Good understanding of information security management principles
- Good understanding of the regulatory environment applicable to IT
Other requisites:
- Candidate must have valid driver’s license and vehicle to use on duty;
- Provide input into staff training relating to new enhancements and or developments.
