Farm Manager
Applicants are invited to submit applications to fill the position of farm manager that exists at Botswana meat Commission tenable at Banyana Farms situated in the Southern part of Botswana.

Key Performance Areas
The farm manager’s responsibilities will include the overall management of the farm which will be stocked with feedlot animals readied for slaughter, back grounding and feeding protocol. The farm manager will also be responsible producing stock feed and deciding which crops to plant and in what quantities, drawing up planting and harvesting schedules and coordinating these activities with farm operators. The candidate will be required to plan the work schedules of full time employees and decide when temporary worker will be needed. If production goals have not been met, the manager is responsible for identifying and correcting the problem to ensure that the farm runs as efficiently and profitably as possible
Qualifications and experience required
To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least a higher national diploma (HND) in animal/crop production and will have a proven track record of having worked in a similar environment and be able to get the most out of available resources both human and machinery.
