Supported Employment specialist
The supported employment specialist supports clients with disabilities to find and maintain employment in their community. This involves supporting the client with:
- Developing a personal profile
- Planning and implementing employment selection
- Providing jobsite training and support
- Providing long term supports
The employment specialist also undertakes organizational marketing by offering the service of a supported employment provider to relevant employers in the community.
The successful applicant will have: excellent interpersonal skills, good administrative skills, a diploma in social work (or equivalent), three years relevant experience, a driving license and most importantly a passion to achieve inclusive communities.
