The Directorate of Public Service Management seeks the services of talented, self-driven, experienced and highly motivated citizens of Botswana to fill the following vacancy.

Performance Improvement Coordinator
Ref: C01AC00713
Salary Scale: D1 (P241 704-P266 844 per annum)
Leave: 30 working days per annum
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Strategic Management or equivalent. A Master’s degree in Social Sciences or strategic Management or equivalent is an added advantage.
Experience:
Candidates must have completed at least ten (10) years working experience, preferably in a change management related area, five (5) years of which should have been playing a leading role in Performance Management Environment and must have been at the level of Grade D2 in Government, or equivalent level in parastatal or private sector organizations for at least two (2) years.

Main purpose of the job:
To provide strategic management and overall coordination of reform initiatives and their implementation in the Directorate of Public Service Management (DSPM).

Key Performance Areas:
1. Provides technical guidance in the development of the DPSM strategy.
2. Monitors and evaluates the implementation of the DPSM strategy
3. Prepares DPSM Performance reports.
4. Institutions public service charter and DPSM values
5. Manages performance standards.
6. Conducts training on performance related issues.
7. Monitors the usage of performance management system funds.
8. Consolidates and aligns the DPSM Budget to the strategy.

Benefits:
1. Optional contributory medical aid scheme (Government pays 50% and employee 50%)
