Construction of Pipeline from Borehole 9256 near Bobonong to Lepokole Water Desalination Plant
The Water Utilities Corporation invites tenders from Contractors registered with PPADB under Grade B, code 10, sub codes 01, 02, 03, and 04 for re-construction of Pipeline from BH 9256 Near Bobonong to Lepokelo Desalination Plant.
The purpose of the project is to construct a water transmission pipeline with its associated appurtenances from the Borehole BH 9256 in Bobonong to Lepokole village water desalination plant from which Lepokole village is supplied with water. The existing pipeline is prone to bursting and being washed out during rainy seasons at stream crossings. The pipeline is of critical importance, as the only water supply source for Lepokole village.
Tender documents may be obtained as from 4 April 2013 from Room 208, at the Water Utilities Corporation, Sedibeng House, Plot 17530, Luthuli road, Gaborone, for a non-refundable fee of P150 per set.
There will be a compulsory site visit on the 25 April 2013 at the Water Utilities Corporation’s Bobonong Revenue Office, West of Bobonong Mall; alongside road to Selebi-Phikwe at 0900 hrs (tenderers should arrive at or before 0900 hrs).
Tenders in hard copy must be submitted to the Corporation Secretary, Water Utilities Corporation, Office NO 208 Sedibeng House, by no later than the closing date and time stated hereunder.
Failure to comply shall render the tender invalid. The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders.
