Botswana Ash (PTY) LTD is a soda ash and salt producing company situated at Sua Pan in Botswana. Approximately 180 km by tarred road northwest of Francistown. The company employs over 400 employees of which close to 300 are unionized. Employees and their families live in Sowa Town, about 20 km from the plant site. The town boasts of an excellent English medium pre-primary, primary and secondary schools as well as government run primary and junior secondary schools. In addition there is a company run private clinic for botash employees at site as well as a private clinic and a government run clinic at the township. Recreational facilities include tennis and squash counts. Swimming pools. Recreation clubs as well as an 18 whole browns golf course

To control the movement of wagons to and from loading zones within the yard in accordance with Botswana Ash shunting procedures and regulations. To meet company business obligations.
Key performance areas;
• Shunting of wagons,
• Admission and dispatch of trains
• Labeling of wagons
• Maintains records
Requirements
• Ideally ‘’O’’ Levels plus a shunting and wagons control certificate
• A minimum of 1 year railway shunting and wagon control experience is required
