The Botswana institute for technology research and innovation (BITRI) is a newly established technology research institute whose mandate is to undertake research, identify and or develop appropriate technologies in line with national priorities and needs of Botswana. If you have the requisite qualifications and want to be part of the emerging team that will change the technology research and innovation landscape in Botswana, BITRI invites you to apply for the following position:
Researcher, ICT - Mobile Applications
Main Purpose Of The Job:
• Execute and implement mobile related ICT projects under the direction and guidance of the senior researcher and lead researcher.
• Education:
• A PHD in an information focused discipline such as software engineering, computer science or any other equivalent qualification acceptable to BITRI.
Experience and working knowledge:
• At least 5 years of experience in a research environment.
• Evidence of mobile applications development will be an added advantage.
Remuneration
BITRI offers attractive working conditions and remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience. The above posts are for five (5) years fixed term contracts.
