Principal - Gabane Private Secondary School

Job requirements: Bachelor’s Degree plus a teaching qualification or a bachelor of education or its equivalent. A minimum of at least 5 years in the management position of a senior secondary school
Package salary scale: P180 000- P210 000
Leave: 21 working days
Medical aid: 50% employee 50% employer
Main purpose of the job
• Provide liaison to the board of trustees
• Coordinate, supervise and direct the work of staff
• Responsible for administration and resource management of school
• Ensure that school ethics that govern the conduct of staff and pupils are followed
• Develop and maintain decision making structures to aid conflict resolutions
• Create a conductive learning and working environment
• Undertake any other related duties as required to meet the exigencies of the services.
Required competencies
• Strategic leadership planning and organizing
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Basic ICT skills
• Results oriented and teamwork oriented
