Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for the overall quality of the work output of the Agrisales workshop in Gaborone. The Agrisales Workshop foreman oversees the service, maintenance and repairs of Massey Ferguson and Tafe Tractors and is responsible for the productivity of a team of mechanics and apprentices. This post is also tasked with meeting and exceeding monthly targets and the business objectives of the workshop. The successful candidate is a dedicated, mature person who is able to work efficiently and independently and reports to the General Manager
An ambitious and dynamic person of sound technical knowledge with a proven track record is sought. The applicant must be very serious about “first Time right” standards and have vast experience as a qualified tractor mechanic.

- Ability to delegate and manage work in progress
- Passionate about success-target driven
- High energy individual committed to customer service excellence
- Professional, well versed in hydraulics
- Methodical and systematic in the approach to record keeping ability to implement and monitor processes and procedures
- A quality fanatic to control standards of work done by the workshop
- Ability to run the productivity measurement programme
- Training of designated staff, transfer of skills
Minimum requirements
- Previous Massey Ferguson or Tafe tractors hands on mechanic experience
- Knowledge of tractors electrical
- Understand of tractors electronics
- Minimum of five years work experience as a diesel mechanic knowledge on tractor hydraulic will be an added advantage
Previous experience on other brands of tractors will be an added advantage.
