Chef
Main purpose of the job
To plan and supervise the production and service of food cost effectively
Key performance areas:
The successful candidate will be responsible for among other things:
?Food preparation and production
?Food quality and presentation
?Food safety and hygiene standards
?Resource utilization
Qualifications: National craft certificate in hospitality or related field. Diploma in food and beverages/ culinary arts would be an added advantage.
Experience: minimum two years experience in catering in either a hotel or canteen environment. Detailed hands on knowledge of kitchen and food preparation procedures are essential.
