An affiliate john Hopkins university, a global leader in improving health care for women and their families, seeks to recruit highly qualified staff to support the ministry of health as part of the national safe male circumcision (SMC) program and Botswana combination prevention project (Ya Tsie).
Position: SMC Regional Field Officer
The officer is responsible for coordinating demand generation, HIV Counseling & testing and service delivery in least, four sites and their outreach locations. This entails strong collaboration with SMC teams and relevant stakeholders at district and sub-district level and frequent in country travel to ensure optimum performance of the supported teams. The activities include but not limited to availability of supplies and equipment, timely submissions of reports.
Required competencies: diploma or degree in nursing, registered with the NMCB, trained in SMC. Three years experience in management position is essential. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Setswana preferred.
