Accountant
Linyanti Explorations (Pty) Ltd is looking to fill the position of accountant. Candidate would be based in Maun and would report directly to the regional managing director as well as the group chief financial officer.
General responsibilities include:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Management of cash flows
• Monitoring & updating administration and financial systems
• Credit control, payroll, ledger accounting, trade payables, purchasing administration, cost management, stock controls and fixed asset registers
• Preparation of year end accounts & management of audit process
• Management of purchasing and logistics functions
• Management and control of corporate governance including VAT returns, payroll returns, corporate tax returns
Requirements include:
• Minimum AAT diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience at similar level in a company with multi profit centers / or locations
• Candidate must be competent in: financial accounting, budgetary and negotiation skills, taxation skills, policies and procedure’s, systems implementation, credit control, analytical skills, leadership qualities, excellent communication skills and evaluation and administration skills.
• Recognized degree
• Traceable references
