As Chief Executive you will be expected to possess dynamic, strategic and visionary leadership skills and experience in order to achieve distinction in the areas of ERB capacity building, public and stakeholder engagement, strategic alliance creation, engineer registration and promotion of engineering standards. Key performance areas include: implementation of the ERB mandate; strategy formulation and management; high level representation at meetings and forums; financial performance; policy advocacy and high quality leadership to the mananagement and staff.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual with a minimum of a first degree in engineering and be able to establish credibility by demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A master’s degree in business management or an equivalence of that will be viewed as an added advantage. A minimum of 12 years post qualification experience in the engineering field, four of which should have been whilst holding a senior management position is required.
