Electrical Sales Engineer
An engineering company requires the services of an electrical sales engineer to be based in Gaborone.
Requirements: Applicants must possess a BEng electrical engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar field. Experience in lecturing of electrical engineering would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities: sales of motors, transformers, switchgear and other substation equipment through;
- Identifying and establishing new business, maintaining existing clients and direct contact marketing.
- Providing technical assistance, product education and after-sales support services to clients.
- Arranging technical presentations and demonstrating how products operate and supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
Key skills: combination of technical knowledge with sales skills, communication skills, team-working skills, marketing and sales skills.
Applicants: all applicants must computer literate and possess a clean driving license. They must be eager to work in a growing and demanding environment and keen on meeting deadlines.
