Artisan Electrician
Reporting to the Foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for undertaking preventive maintenance and work repair on electrical equipment and to carry out electrical installations and commissioning works in the area of operation.
Key performance areas
• Maintenance of equipment as stipulated in relevant maintenance procedures
• Restore equipment to required safe operational condition
• Install and commission equipment as per set engineering standards
• Provide accurate oral and written feedback as necessary for the work at hand
Educational and experience requirements
• NCC in related field
• 4 years apprenticeship
• 3 years experience preferably in a mining or heavy industry
