Manager - Credit Coverage

We are looking for a highly motivated, talented and service-orientated client coverage manager to work closely with our key clients, by helping them to optimize financial performance through the full range of Stanbic Bank services and products.

The candidate is expected to execute strategic client plans that will ensure the development of strong business relationships and the delivery of profitable and integrated Stanbic Bank products and services with the purpose of ensuring client profitability, increased revenue, risk optimization and consistent service delivery. The incumbent will be required to implement, practice and maintain a well developed and integrated sales and service delivery platform to ensure a consistent value adding customer experience. In addition, the aspirant is expected to build cooperative partnerships and networks with critical internal and external stakeholders I country and across the wider client coverage team within the Standard Bank group. The applicant should be a highly skilled individual with proficiency in inspiring performance for execution and as well as proven leadership skills to manage a portfolio within the local client coverage department.
Required skills and qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years of experience should be in the client service environment (preferably client coverage)
• Additional 2-3 years within the Credit or product environment will be considered an advantage
• Previous relationship management experience within a client coverage domain would be beneficial in understanding the operational and process risks inherent in the financial sales and services domain
• In-depth knowledge of general Local Banking practices and procedures required
• Previous managerial roles and supervision of team would be an added advantage.
