Botswana Meat Commission invites self motivated qualified personnel to the organization to the next level in the following positions:
Management Accountant
The incumbent will prepare timely and accurate management accounts with detailed variance analysis against budget to management. Provide technical advice and Accounting support to other team members and ensure maintenance of and adherence to group accounting policies and procedures. Meet all internal and external reporting requirements including preparation of management and group accounts; statutory annual financial statements, and other external statutory requirements.
Key performance areas
1. Ensure management monthly reports are out by the 5th working day
2. Ensure timeout annual statutory audits
3. Staff development
4. Monitoring all general ledger account reconciliations
Position requirements
Education: Degree in Accounting
Professional/Technical: ACCA/CIMA or membership of an equivalent internationally recognized professional accountancy institute.
Experience:
At least three years working in a large operation as management accountant post
Competencies
1. Analytical skill
2. Leadership and communication skills
