Botswana Meat Commission invites self motivated qualified personnel to the organization to the next level in the following positions:
Senior Internal Auditor
The incumbent will:
• Carry out audits to provide independent and objective assurance to Board and Management for good decision making
• Provide consulting service as required; adding value and improving BMC’S operations across the value chain to help it accomplish its objectives
• Facilitate risk management process across the BMC value the protection of the commission’s asset, the effective and prudent utilization of assets and existence of the adequate and effective internal control processes.
Key performance areas:
1. Strategy and Governance
2. Risk management process
3. Conduct audits and provide recommendations on governance, risk management and control processes
4. Consultancy, counseling and catalyst for change and strategy execution
5. Supervise, coach and mentor subordinates
6. Provide training for other BMC staff where required
7. Monitoring of compliance with laid down financial, administrative and other established procedures
8. Analytical skills
9. Communication skills
10. Implementation of Audit plans
Position Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a degree in Accounting, Auditing or related field professional /technical.
- ACCA or equivalent internationally recognized professional Accountancy or Audit qualification; or studying towards qualification
- CIA or studying towards CIA qualification will be an added advantage
Experience:
At least five years in internal auditing environment
