Research Specialist
Purpose
To work on operation research projects, activities and effectively deliver results within set timeframes by employing statistical models to ensure successful delivery of processes and technology.
Key performance areas
1. Research and competitor surveys
2. Route profitability study and fleet analysis
3. Accuracy and timely availability of management information
Competencies
• Good knowledge of research philosophies, principles and techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical ability
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of process quality control and measurement methodologies
• Commercial awareness/business acumen
Requirements
Degree in technical quantities programme (mathematics, statistics, economics, business studies) 2 to 3 years working experience in similar role with operational research and statistical modeling. Airline revenue management experience will be an added advantage.
