Unchartered Africa Safari Company has the following vacancies:
Sale & Marketing Manager x1 (based in Joburg)
The individual will have responsibility for managing and monitoring all client activities including:
i) Day to day liaison with high end international clients
ii) Managing marketing activity
iii) Development of new markets specifically in East Asia & India.
iv) Working closely with PR teams in the US and UK
v) Trade show organization and attendance
vi) Feedback and marketing reports to clients
Personal Specification
• A Masters Degree in Tourism
• 8 years experience in the travel industry and 5 years experience in Luxury tourism
• Excellent knowledge of luxury tourism in Southern Africa, South East Asia & India
• Experience in product management and marketing
• A confident communicator and negotiator
• Excellent understanding of PR and the management of PR
• Speak at least 3 international languages
• An excellent knowledge of all major Microsoft AND Mac programmes
• Should have travelled and lived extensively around the world
• Should ne responsible, have people management experience, be sociable, reliable and organized. An energetic, enthusiastic character happy to be hands on and get things done.
