2014 CYCLE VACANCIES
Moderators for BGCSE National Examinations

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified teachers and education officers who wish to be appointed as external moderators for the subjects listed below for 2014 BGCSE examinations.
• Agriculture
• Food and Nutrition
• Art
• Music
• Design and Technology
• Home management
• Fashion and Fabrics
• Business studies
• Computer studies
• Physical education
• French
• Development studies
All applicants must be performing teaching services currently at institutions that prepare candidates for the BGCSE certificates. They should indicate their preferred subjects provided they have the required teaching experience in those subjects(s). In addition, applicants for Music, food and nutrition, fashion and fabrics and home management should also indicate the syllabus component they wish to be engaged for.
Qualifications: A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education or Bachelor’s degree with a professional teaching qualification (PGDE) or equivalent relevant to the preferred subject as well as training as a moderator/examiner. A master’s degree in education will be an added advantage.
Experience: At least three years continuous teaching experience at BGCSE level relevant to the preferred subject or at institutions that prepares students for higher qualifications.
