The directorate seeks the services of highly motivated, experienced and self driven citizens of Botswana to fill the following vacant positions.

Vacancy circular no. 3 of 2014
Vacancy: Performance Improvement Coordinator
Main purpose of the job:
To monitor and manage the implementation of reform initiatives introduced by government and provide general assistance to the director of public service management on organizational performance related matters
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in social sciences, preferably strategic management or equivalent
Experience:
Candidates must have completed at least eight (8) years working experience, preferably in a change management related area, two (2) of which must have been at the level of grade D2 in government, or equivalent level in parastatal or private sector organisations.
Key performance areas:
1. Guides the directorate in the development of strategic initiatives in order to deliver its mandate
2. Monitors and evaluates the overall effectiveness, opportunities and threats and advises the director
3. Identifies the directorate’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and advises the director
4. Assists in aligning the budget to ensure appropriate utilization and achievement of the strategy
5. Ensures quality control on performance management system projects deliverables
6. Ensures alignment of employees’ performance agreements and performance development plans to the organizational strategy
7. Performs any other duties as may assigned

Salary scale: D1 (P241 704-P266 844 per annum)
Leave: 30 working days per annum

1. Optional contributory medical aid scheme (government pays 50% and employee 50%)
2. Optional contributory pension fund scheme (governance pays 15% and employee 5-10%)
