Intellectual Property Para-Legal
We urgently require an intellectual property Para-Legal with at least thirteen (13 years experience in the legal field to work for a well established legal firm.
The incumbent must be able inter-alia to do following:-
- Prepare high court documents
- Be fully conversant with the initial case management program
- Prepare and index briefs for counsel and witnesses statements
- Comply with attendance notes, attend court with clients, attorney and counsel and taking notes and proof reading of documents
- Attending conferences with counsel
- Have knowledge of intellectual property law and be able to negotiate disclaimers and liaise directly with the registrar of trade marks and patents
- Have a long established rapport with lawyers, correspondents and clients
- Must be computer literate
- Should be studying towards an LLB Degree
