Environmentalist
The applicant must have a recognized apprenticeship in Eco systems, Geography, Geology, history of Botswana, neighboring countries as well as their flora & fauna.
The successful applicant must have been in this profession for at least 7 years & as lodge environmentalist for a minimum of 5 years where the applicant had the following exposure.
Training of guides, evaluating their performance, setting a high standard & work ethic, maintain & exceed 5 star standards under the general managers’ supervision in service delivery, equipment maintenance, extensive knowledge in astronomy & operation of associated equipment, i.e. computerized scopes, computer software, digital photography & audio visual equipment. Have all the necessary computer knowledge to produce monthly environmental, stock, fuel & satellite vehicle management reports. The applicant must have extensive experience in water & land based activities & all relevant current safety measures/procedures associated with these activities. This position is available in a remote area and therefore requires a self motivated single person that has a passion for nature conservation & outdoor life.
50% medical aid pension for above mentioned vacancies
