Building Maintenance Artisan
Main purpose of the job
To provide maintenance and service to building internal structures and fixtures, external structures and determine best approach to attend to problems by referring to technical manuals, blueprints and products catalogues.
Key Performance areas:
The successful candidates will be responsible for among other things:
• Repair and maintenance
• “Right first time repairs” (quality of work)
• Adherence to safety procedures
• Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand and power tools
• Availability of records and documents
• Customer service
Position requirement:
Qualifications: NCC in carpentry and joined or equivalent
Experience: 2 years experience in carpentry and joined work in an intense maintenance oriented environment
