Employee Relations Specialist - three (3) year contract
Main purpose of the job
To support and facilitate the development and implementation of industrial relations policies, practices, programmes, strategies, monitor and maintain the industrial relations policies and procedures and provide employee relations services in accordance with relevant legislation, company policies and procedures and collective agreements. In addition the suitable person will be expected to provide fist line support employee relations.

• Grievance and disciplinary hearing facilitation
• Conflict resolution and management
• Negotiation of terms and conditions of employment
• Effective representation of DTCB at third party level
• Effective employee relation research
Qualifications: Degree in human resource management or related field
Experience: Five years post qualification experience in HR of which two should be in an industrial relations environment with extensive knowledge of labour laws and experience with active trade unions. Experience in labour relations training will be an added advantage.
