Position: Supply Planner
Vivo Energy is a new and exciting Pan-African marketing company operating under the Shell brand. We are committed to attracting, training, developing and rewarding world class people for this world class business.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for this position, tenable in Gaborone:
Job purpose
? To produce the supply, depot stock and replenishment planning by means of effective tools and liaison with suppliers.
? To monitor all primary logistics operations for supply into the country.
Qualifications and experience
The right persons for this position will have:
? A degree or equivalent qualification with majors in supply chain or logistics management
? Strong administration, analytical and reconciliation skills
? Computer literacy with database and spreadsheet skills
? Good understanding of supplies operations
? Good understanding of the JDE logistics modules.
Principal accountabilities
? Sales n operations planning
? Assist depot (Vivo and OOCs) managers with stock replenishment planning and monitoring by means of effective tools to ensure continuity of supply.
? Fuel stocks management and planning
? Coordination of rail and road transport deliveries to depots and customers.
? Monitor in transit gains and losses
? Supply of lubricants management
? Effective management for accounts and payments.
? Provide finance and supplies management with detailed analysis of volume trends in the B/L balance by company.
? Accurately prepare monthly accruals for S&H, transport and bridging with the required back up documentation and within month end deadlines.
? Prepare, cleanse and manipulate date to create history based forecast for all product families
? Use expertise and detailed knowledge to produce best possible initial forecast and facilitate demand input providers and demand cell owners in agreeing valid and accurate forecasts
