Senior Risk Officer
The Institute of Development Management is a regional organization, with campuses in Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland providing management development through Training Research and Consultancy.
IDM invites applications from suitably qualified candidates in the provision of risk management services.
Key performance Areas and Responsibilities
? Conducts risk assessments, technical risk reviews, identifies risks, proposes the actions necessary to lessen risks and assists in the auditing of the implementation of those actions.
? Compilation of risk management reports
? Maintain and review the risk registers
? Ensuring compliance with wellness, occupational health and safety policy and procedures
? Reviews all accident reports and associated documentation
? Handles customer and staff complaints and attends to them as per insurance policies and company procedures and controls
Education and Experience
degree in risk management, insurance, business continuity management, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) or in a field or discipline related to enterprise risk management. Studying towards enterprise risk management will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years experience in enterprise risk management.
Key competencies
Planning and organization, judgment and decision making, written and verbal communication, results oriented analytical skills, relationship management, technical knowhow, business acumen, law and governance, risk management, advanced computer skills, valid driver’s license.
